School Closure

Kia ora koutou
With the announcement by Government that schools are closed for the next four weeks, we are implementing our plans to support your child’s learning from home. We appreciate this is a sudden and significant change and will be heavily disruptive to many people in our community.
The number one priority right now is the well being of our learners and families. While learners may initially be excited about some time away from school, the reality of what isolation looks like may have an impact on some. While learning is important, it comes second to happy and relaxed children.
As announced by the government, school holidays have been brought forward to start next Monday 30th March. The holiday period will end after Tuesday 14th April (Easter Tuesday) and we will continue to learn at distance up until at least two weeks after the end of the holidays.
We will continue to communicate with you over the coming days. Thank you for your ongoing support of our school staff and school community. Look after each other and take care.
