The Chelsea PTA is a group of interested parents whose function is to further the general welfare of the school in the wider community. Its primary focus is social, followed by fund raising for special projects. The PTA Committee is elected annually at its AGM. This is a vital organisation which supports and complements the Board of Trustees.
The school also welcomes the support parents can give in a variety of ways including supporting classroom visits, sports etc. Follow us on Facebook!

The biggest focus of the PTA and our helpers is the fundraising and funding of the School’s ‘wish list’. The School’s wish list is put together by requests from teachers which are then prioritised by the School Principal. We feel it’s really important to show you, our community, what we are fundraising for and therefore we always want to communicate fundraising targets before and after events. The School’s wish list contains large and small budget $$ items, and can be: educational; related to school facilities; social; cultural; or help parents in some way. Past PTAs & their communities even helped fund raise for massive projects like the hall and the pool. Here are some of the recent projects our community has fund raised for: | ||||||
