Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Chelsea School. It is my privilege to lead this wonderful school where we encourage our learners to grow to be capable, balanced and confident learners who embrace new experiences and opportunities. Our core values of Honesty, Excellence, Respect and Responsibility are important to us. By the time our learners move on to the next stage of their education, they will have the “Chelsea DNA” embedded. They will be resilient, collaborative, engaged, curious, persevering, up for a challenge, a communicator and a celebrator. With these skills they will be well on their way to”achieving their potential with confidence, passion and integrity”.
Our students enjoy and are engaged in their learning. Our great staff work as a team to provide the best possible learning opportunities for our students. As a team we are involved in quality practices in literacy, numeracy and Inquiry. In addition, we are a TravelWise school and encourage our learners to walk, scooter or ride to school.
Sporting pursuits and the arts are given a high profile at Chelsea with many opportunities provided. Our learners are given tasters in many different sports - tennis, golf, AFL, table tennis to name a few and we furnish teams in netball, basketball, hockey, touch rugby, rippa rugby, cricket, flippa ball ( water polo), and dance sport.
We have a strong emphasis on music and all learners participate in our whole school, biennial, musical production.
We look forward to continuing a close association with our preschool centres, parents and the wider community as we endeavour to make Chelsea the school of choice.
Many thanks to our parents and caregivers who support us in so many ways. We truly value the help you provide with road patrol, PTA, management of sports teams, support with camp and EOTC and our production
