How do we keep in touch?

All teachers are available on email: firstname.surname@chelsea.school.nz. A full list of staff email addresses is available here.
Newsletters:
These are sent home every Wednesday with the eldest or only child. The newsletter details parent information, coming events, notices, educational and curriculum matters.
Electronic versions of the newsletters are also available here and by email (if you wish to be added to the email distribution list please tell the office or email us).
Each term there is a syndicate newsletter updating parents on the forthcoming events and areas of study in each syndicate. Copies of the syndicate newsletters are available here.
Parent Interviews/Evenings:
Informal gatherings are held at the beginning of each year to enable teachers and parents to meet and socialise.
Individual parent interviews are held in Terms 1 and 3, with up to three interviews per pupil. Parents are most welcome, however, to make an appointment with their child’s teacher to discuss any matters at any time during the year. Appointments can be made with the teacher concerned.
Reports:
Written reports are issued at the end of each year. These will give a written indication of your child’s attitude, effort and progress and provide a summation of the year’s work.
